Terms of service

These terms apply to methodandmatrix.skin and to the virtual skincare consultations and programs offered by Method & Matrix LLC. By using the site or booking a service, you agree to them.

Our services

Method & Matrix provides virtual skincare consultations, skin analysis, product and ingredient guidance, home-care plans and guided programs, delivered by video and messaging. You must be 18 or older to book.

Not medical care

Consultations provide skincare education and cosmetic guidance from a licensed esthetician. They are not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and they do not replace care from a physician or dermatologist. If you have a medical skin condition, a sudden or severe reaction, or a concern that may need medical attention, please see a medical professional. Nicole will also tell you when a concern is outside the scope of esthetic care.

Your part

Recommendations depend on the information you give us. Please share your skin history, allergies, sensitivities, medications that affect your skin, and the products you use as accurately as you can. Follow product directions, patch test new products, and stop using anything that causes irritation.

Booking and payment

Bookings and payments are handled through Paperbell. Consultations and programs must be paid in full, or secured with an agreed deposit, at the time of booking. Prices are listed on the Programs page and may change, but a change will not affect a service you have already paid for.

Products

Product recommendations are based on ingredients and your skin's needs. Products are purchased separately, and buying them is always optional.

Results

Every person's skin is different, and results depend on many factors, including following your plan consistently. We cannot guarantee specific results.

Our materials

Plans, roadmaps and other materials we create for you are for your personal use. Please do not resell or publish them. Site content, including text, images and the Method & Matrix name and logo, belongs to Method & Matrix LLC.

Information on this site and in our newsletter is general education, not personal advice for your skin.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Method & Matrix LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site or our services, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service involved.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
